David's work maintains faces or facial features portraying old, young, whites, blacks, mulatttos, in a multitude of colors to bring forth particular features. From a cultural perspective, David has commited a portion of his work to expose and provide awareness to the everday challenges lived by the people living in Cuba. David hopes that his observers look beyond what they initially see, to submerge deeper into the nuaunces of his work to acheive a greater appreciation and understanding of what his work is actually communicating.
